Engine 36 operated this GMC / KME 4x4 which was housed with a "Rescue" (Medic) and Tender. Only three firefighters staffed the station and responded with the most appropriate pieces. This unit now serves as West Douglas Engine 133 . MB Photo

RETIRED RESCUE 39
Former "Rescue 39" seen in it's role as a primary back up medic unit. Castlewood purchased two of these 1992 Chevrolet Kodiac / Wheeled Coach units which originally served as Rescue 31 & Rescue 33. The rigs moved stations a few more times before going into reserve status and one as the Dive Rescue. Rescue 39 could be seen quite often running has a back up unit in Castle Rock when their units were OOS. MB Photo
RETIRED MEDIC 40
This 1995 Ford F-350 / Wheeled Coach served at various Castlewood / South Metro houses before being placed into reserve status. It briefly served as a SWAT Medic until being retired in 2009.
RETIRED ENGINE
This Spartan / General originally served with the Cherry Hills Village Fire Department before the merger took place with Castlewood. "The General" as it was known was rebuilt with an enclosed cab and served at various houses before retirement. MB Photo

This 1984 Spartan / General was refurbished in 1997 with an enclosed cab. Originally bought by the Cherry Hills FD, this rig saw many different houses at Castlewood / South Metro. It was retired in 2008 due to on going mechanical problems. MB photo
